 Startup

 

Swipe left to get to the Selector Then scroll to the Settings

 

1. Timeout

 

Settings/display/sleep and adjust the timeout to 2 minutes (otherwise it will go to sleep as you adjust settings and be irritating).

 

2. Connect to wifi

 

Settings/connect/wifi

 

Switch on the toggle at the top and select your wifi network

 

TIP: Create a simple wifi password to make typing the password easy on the small watch face.

 

3. Set the time

 

Settings/Date&Time/

 

Toggle on "Automatic time zone"


 

Basic Navigation


 

 

1. Press down on the watch face to see a range of watch face options, and select one

 

 

 

 

  1. Swipe down to access the control panel and then swipe left to see the toggles


The Toggles shown are the ones to have on for optimal use and battery life.

 

 

 

 

SIM CARD

 

  1. It may take up to 2 hours for a device to apply the new internet and APN settings of the SIM card
  2. When installing the SIM, please ensure the SIM card is locked into place properly. The little sim flap door does not just lay flat you need to close it and then slide it locks and make the connection
  3. If in doubt, test the SIM card in a phone
  4. After installing the SIM restart the device

 

  1. check that there is a reception on the control panel
  2. and that the toggles are on - as shown in the images above. Turn on flight mode on and off
  3. Go to the Browser on the menu selector and see if Google can be brought up.


It may be necessary to install a new APN setting to get the SIM card to work (see the APN chapter of this guide for further information).






Brainwave Watch Settings

 

TURN wifi ON during Sleep

 

Please make sure you have the following settings turned ON

 

  1. Navigate to Menu > Settings > Connect > WiFi >
  2. Select Options, Advanced

 

"Keep WiFi on during sleep" - Set Always

 

Turn on Background data ON & Unrestricted data usage ON (like below image)

 

Navigate to Menu > Settings > Uninstall applications > Saviour Watch > Data Usage toggle the Background data ON and unrestricted data usage ON


 

High accuracy GPS

 

Settings > Connect > Gps.

 

flick on the green toggle mode

 

Enable GPS and select high accuracy in mode

 

Disable intelligent power

 

Settings/power saving/disable intelligent power

 

The data saver is turned off

 

Data Saver is set in Settings> More> Data Saver.

 

Make sure that the data saver is turned off on the watches since it throttles background service when the watch is idle.

Toggle this on and click on the text it goes to a new screen showing GuardSignal Toggle this off

APN Settings

 

Network providers have APN settings that enable to their SIM card to work on the watch The watch might work automatically when the SIM is installed. Otherwise, APN settings need to be entered into the watch

 

Please ask your provider for their APN settings (their APN settings will often be available on the internet). Sometimes it is possible to enter the APN settings simply by sending a text to the watch.

 

To enter the settings, please follow the steps below and SAVE them Setting>>connect>>cellular networks>>access point names>>new APN>>add details>>save

 

And enter the details provided by the network provider and save the APN.

 

Go back to the access point names page and select the Newly created APN!

 




 

 

 

 

 

Transferring the APK File

 

The GuardSignal app is an APK file

 

It is downloaded onto your computer

 


 

 

Then the file is transferred to the watch via Bluetooth

 

On the Watch

 

  1. Settings/Connect / Bluetooth

 

turn on Bluetooth (toggle at the top) and press Search

 

  1. Select the device where the Bluetooth is

 

 

 

On the Computer

 

Click on Bluetooth and go to preferences

 

 

 



 

 

in the Bluetooth panel right click on "send file"

 

 

 





 

On the watch

 

Accept the incoming file You'll be advised of the progress

 


 

On the Computer

 

 

On the watch

 

Either click on the notification that appears when the download is complete, or at any time go to the File Manager

 

 

 

Click away the cover data info page
 

 

 

 

Go to Bluetooth

 


 

and click on the file

 

 

 

You'll be guided through a number of introduction screens Click Yes to each of them

 

You will require the "Watch Code" that is given in the registration Welcome pack

 

 

 

 

 

Restart the Watch and the GuardSignal app will now be the selector menu with the other icons

 

NOTE:

 

If an earlier version APK was installed, remove it:
